Eton Fives - Midlands Tournament 2025
Another fantastic weekend of Eton Fives in the Midlands! Players from across the country gathered for the 2025 Midlands Tournament – a brilliant mix of friendly competition, sportsmanship, and classic Fives spirit.
The standard of play was excellent throughout, with plenty of tightly fought games and standout moments. The final saw Aadi Agarwal & Tanish Arjaria take on Seb Cooley & Henry Etherington in a thrilling contest that kept the crowd on their toes. Seb’s dominant display – particularly his sharp volleying and calm game management under pressure – helped secure the win, but both pairs delivered some outstanding rallies that showed the very best of the sport.

As always, the atmosphere was as much about camaraderie as competition – laughter between rallies, post-match handshakes, and the shared love of a sport that thrives on its community. A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise, mark, and support the event, and to Repton School for keeping things running smoothly all weekend.
Congratulations to this year’s winners, and to every pair who took part – proof once again that the Midlands Fives tournament continues to grow from strength to strength, and that people truly will travel outside of London for a game of Fives!
A fantastic start to the tournament season!
I look forward to seeing you all again soon for the London’s, Northerns, and other tournaments inbetween.
